Bio-photonic Electrography, sometimes related to electrophotonic imaging (EPI) or Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV), involves capturing the electromagnetic field around a biological sample (such as a fingertip) when it is subjected to a high-voltage, high-frequency electrical field. The interaction causes a glow or corona discharge from the sample, which is then imaged and analysed.
